429 Set-Up Rules for Auto Set
In order for the set-up information to download correctly to the Engico we will need to be consistent in the way we set-up file masters. When using a style code that inputs the scoring in screen 7, and we do not change the scoring or re-arrange the scoring, the set will download correctly. In other situations see below for the set to come through correctly.
- Style code #145 (Carton Special w/ MFG Joint): Use this style code for 1 piece boxes with flaps top and bottom when standard scoring allowances are not used.
- Style code #8 (HSC Special Body or Cover): Use this style for any 1 piece box with flaps on one side only when standard scoring allowances are not used. Also use when switching the lid scores to put the flap last. On all HSC’s on 429 the flap must be last on screen 7.
- Style code #44 (Carton 2 Piece Special): Use this style code for 2 piece boxes with flaps top and bottom when standard scoring allowances are not used.
- Style code #55 (HSC 2 Piece): Use this style for any 2 piece box with flaps on one side only. On all HSC’s on 429 the flap must be last on screen 7.
- Style code #127 (1pf Special): Use this style for any 1 piece folders with non-standard scoring.
- Style code #128 (5pf Special): Use this style for any 5 panel folders with non-standard scoring. The cut out flap must always be first on screen 7.
